A weather app forecast is like one of those swinging pirate ship amusement park rides. The forecast will often swing wildly back and forth, as the one or few models the app is based on struggle to get a grasp on the weather pattern. If you’d rather have a steadier hand during the week of your event guiding you through the realistic weather possibilities for the exact location and time of your event, explaining what’s more likely versus less likely, letting you know when the forecast becomes more confident, and watching radar for you on the day of the event, then I’m here to help.

Starting about a week out, you'll typically receive a forecast update from me at least once per day. You'll also have direct access to ask me questions at any time throughout the week. Most event planners prefer to communicate with me via text message, but email is fine too, and of course you can always call me. On the day of the event you might hear from me just once or twice if the weather is really quiet, or numerous times throughout the day if the weather is active and I'm tracking radar and lightning for your exact location.

Not at all. First, beautiful sunny days don't always start off as a sure bet several days out. The event planners I work with find significant value in understanding how certain or uncertain the forecast is, even when the weather doesn't look to be too active on the day of the event. Furthermore, even when the chance of rain is low, an accurate forecast for temperature and wind can inform key decisions that need to be made in advance, such as those related to tents, heaters or fans. No matter if it's sunny or stormy, the peace of the mind of having affordable, anytime access to a trusted meteorologist is invaluable.

My primary focus is D.C., Maryland and Virginia. But I do accept events elsewhere on a case-by-case basis, so don't hesitate to reach out wherever your event might be.
